        The medical-grade silicone grip cover is an integrated silicone protective and gripping accessory exclusively designed for the operating handles, handheld ends and control grips of medical devices. Molded from medical-grade platinum-cured silicone rubber, it tightly fits over the metal/hard plastic grips of medical instruments, delivering four core functions: non-slip gripping, shock absorption and buffering, insulation protection, as well as disinfection resistance and easy cleaning. It is suitable for various medical handheld instruments including surgical instruments, physiotherapy device handles, rehabilitation equipment grips and testing equipment operating ends. Complying with medical standards such as ISO 9001, FDA, t integrates the properties of high-elasticity fitting, anti-aging and biocompatibility, and is a core matching part to improve the operational comfort, safety and durability of medical devices.

Core Material Properties 

       The entire product is made of medical-grade methyl vinyl silicone rubber (custom fluorosilicone rubber for special scenarios), with low-molecular volatiles removed through secondary vulcanization. It is plasticizer-free, halogen-free and free of harmful substance leaching. The platinum vulcanization process ensures material purity, and all properties meet the usage requirements of medical devices for high-frequency clinical operation, repeated disinfection and direct human contact:

High Elasticity & Non-Slip, Comfortable Grip Without Slippage

With a flexible design of Shore hardness 35°~45° and excellent elasticity and resilience, its permanent compression set is ≤5%. The surface is treated with non-slip textures (bump/grid/stripe) with a high static friction coefficient, preventing slippage during gripping even when medical staff's hands are stained with disinfectant or sweat. Meanwhile, the silicone fits the hand curve, relieving gripping fatigue from long-term operation, and is suitable for high-frequency operation scenarios such as surgery and rehabilitation physiotherapy.

Shock Absorption & Buffering, Alleviating Operational Vibration

The damping properties of silicone can effectively absorb mechanical vibration during instrument operation (e.g., working vibration of ultrasonic scalpel and physiotherapy device), reducing the impact of vibration on medical staff's hands, avoiding hand soreness caused by long-term gripping and improving operational stability.

Resistant to High-Frequency Medical Disinfection, Easy to Clean and Maintain

Withstands mainstream medical disinfection methods such as 75% alcohol wiping, iodophor disinfection, ultraviolet disinfection and ethylene oxide sterilization. It remains unaged, non-sticky, crack-free and fade-free after repeated disinfection (≥500 times) with no disinfectant residue; the smooth, pore-free and dead-angle-free surface allows for easy removal of dust and medicinal liquid stains with a single wipe, meeting the high hygiene standards of operating rooms, clinics and rehabilitation departments.

Insulation Protection, Enhancing Operational Safety

It features high-quality medical-grade electrical insulation with a volume resistivity of ≥10¹⁴Ω·cm and a breakdown voltage of ≥20kV/mm, effectively isolating weak leakage current from the metal grips of instruments, preventing electric shock during operation by medical staff, and is suitable for medical handheld instruments with electrical control.

Medical-Grade Biocompatibility, No Contact Risks

It has passed core tests including cytotoxicity, skin irritation and delayed hypersensitivity. No irritation or sensitization is caused by direct and long-term contact with human hands, and there is no potential safety hazard even when in contact with medical staff's sensitive skin or post-operative hand skin, complying with the standards for direct skin contact of medical accessories.

Firm Fitting, Adapted to Multi-Specification Grips

The high elasticity of silicone allows it to self-adapt to instrument grips of different diameters and cross-sections. The inner wall is treated with micro-matte/non-slip bumps, fitting tightly without loosening or displacement after installation. It will not fall off even after repeated plugging, unplugging and bending, and is suitable for mainstream instrument grip structures such as round, square and oval.

Temperature & Weather Resistance, Stable Performance

The operating temperature range is -60℃~200℃, compatible with the working temperature rise and disinfection high temperature of medical devices.
